Unusual drone strikes in Russia #
Two unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones, launched an attack on the Russian Aeronautical Training Centre in Borissoglebsk.
As per the regional governor of Voronej, Alexandre Goussev, Russian air defences managed to destroy one drone, which was described as being an « aircraft type ». However, reports from Telegram indicate that two drones managed to hit their targets, the Chkalov Aeronautical Training Centre.
The target: A significant aeronautical hub #
According to the ASTRA news channel, the attack struck the main production workshop of the factory. The Ukrainian blog Defence Express elaborated further on the importance of this facility. It is responsible for the repair and restoration of air-to-air missiles, particularly the R-33 model, as well as Kh-22 and Kh-55 cruise missiles.

The spokesperson for the GUR, Andri Ioussov, was vague on the specifics but confirmed that « the main production facilities of the company were hit ».
